To try an experiment =] I got the idea from another experiment on a personal development site I visit daily and from other experiments I found while researching the subject. I am going to try to collect $1 from the internet world and see how far it goes. As I go along I am going to try to figure out how to manage the experiment to include the names of other people out their in similar financial situations... struggling, WORKING families. I want to help people who help themselves, people and families that have fallen on hard times and are due for a little miracle =] So today I'm starting my experiment. I'm going to send this blog all over the place in every possible way I can think of. Then if it starts to take off I'll start taking names to add to a list which I'll incorporate into the experiment. It will end up being kind of a like a chain letter for dollars =] I'll perfect it when I see this one start rolling =]
A little bit about me:
I'm a 27 year old mom to 2 beautiful toddlers. They light up my life every minute of everyday. I work long hours between 2 jobs just to get us by but we make it! With smiles on our faces too! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, my "4 legged children". We live in a little one bedroom house that someday will be have another bedroom or two =] I have a pretty yucky amount of debt, which is one of the main driving forces behind this experiment. I am saving every extra penny I can to get back to school to become an addictions counselor for moms struggling to overcome their addictions.
I have a wonderful family and 2 awesome younger brothers. My dad has been a force of hope in the extremely dark periods of my life and I'm hoping that when this takes off I will be able to help him out of a financial crisis he's facing in the family business and maybe take him on a vacation since he's taken me on so many!
I'm a pretty shy kinda gal and I'm almost embarrassed to even be asking people I cannot even see to donate $1 to my cause, but I'm biting the bullet and doing it because I believe in miracles =]
